It will be 8 years this August that we have lived in this house. When we moved in I was so tired of moving, unpacking, decorating and getting our yards the way we wanted since this was our 3rd house since we moved from Minnesota in two years.
The reason why I never put any energy into this house or yard was because I was worried we would move again and why go through all this work again. Well after fast approaching 8 years and an upside down mortgage I think we will be here for sometime and now is the time to work on this yard since I am sick of looking at it.
I will journal my time on it and show you the transformation that will take place. Our yard is very big and we have very hard clay to dig into so this will take years I am sure.
My first step was to take a picture of this corner of our yard. I may add a video so you can see the entire yard. It's horrible and I apologize up front to put you through this.
This area I will be working on is going to be our fairy garden one day. Since I have RA it is going to take sometime to get it to the place I want it to be. Also it's hot here in the south and I have my own seasons going if you know what I mean. So I can only work a little bit each morning when I feel up to going out.
So here begins my journey.
