A few weeks ago I took out this rag quilt again, that has been done for a few years except for more cutting on the fringes.
I have rheumatoid arthritis so cutting is a huge chore for me so I did some and then asked Mr. Man to finish. Well it ended up back in my room unfinished until three weeks ago.
It sat once again next to my chair, I mentioned again to Mr. Man if he had the notion to pick it up and cut some fringes I would appreciate it.
Then one day last week I was talking to my sister who recently bought her first sewing machine and she wanted to make me something since I make her things all the time. So sweet, but she had to tell me what she was making because she had many questions. She made me a table runner! I can't wait to get it. I will love it!
She also started a rag quilt. As we talked about it I told her I recently took mine out and she motivated me to get it done!
I didn't care if my wrists and hands hurt I was going to finish it so one night recently I did it!!
Mr. Man finally picked it up...to cover himself in it. He took possession of it immediately, it now hangs off the back of his chair.
I told him to use it now because in a couple of weeks its going with me to MN so I can show my sister.
Well the planning of the wedding has begun. Monday I went with Erica and Mickey (no work for Erica on Monday for MLK day) to David's Bridal to try on Candi's choices for bridesmaid and flower girl dresses.
The decision has been made on both design and color, check!
Mickey looked like a princess for sure and I think she felt like one as well.
Candi is having a hard time with venues so today she sent me a list with her questions so I will be making some phone calls once it's business hours up in the north land.
I hope she can decide soon on one then everything else can fall into place.
Well next project today on my list is helping with the venue!
Have a good day!
Hugs,
Tania
