I'm back from a little holiday break. We had a very nice Christmas. Mickey came over a couple days prior to help me bake cookies and wrap gifts. She is such a big helper.
Erica and Tommy came over Christmas Eve day we had a nice dinner, went to church, opened our family game gift then played games and snacked. A great evening!
Christmas morning we opened our gifts and had a frittata breakfast. Soon after Erica, Tommy and Mickey left for Tommy's mom but we still had our grand puppy to watch which they picked up later that eve. Mr. Man and I had a relaxing afternoon/eve.
(I am not posting Christmas pictures I feel they are private to us and we are all in our pj's)
Mr. Man was on vacation starting Christmas day until Jan 4th and part of the time we spent at Myrtle Beach, SC. We had a beautiful view from our resort room. See first picture of our view.
We stayed right on the beach as you can see at Towers on the Grove by Wyndham resorts. Really nice room!
We met a man on the beach and he showed us a shark tooth he found on the beach.
A beautiful sunset...
A beautiful sunrise...
Fun on the beach. We didn't find much for shells on our beach mostly broken which we overheard someone say to another that it has been this way for over a month, not much. We did drive about an hour away to Pawley Island and did better at shell seeking on Thursday.
On Friday we drove to Conway, SC to walk river walk and shop the historic Conway shops.
We walked the beach so much during the day that we were in bed each night by 8:30 p.m. All that fresh sea air and exercise did us in. I slept really well, Mr. Man on the other hand heard all the noises of the resort. I started to hear it our last night there. Too bad he didn't get very good rest.
We are home again and getting back into our routines.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and New Year!
I am wondering if you made new year resolutions? I have some friends who don't do that but I feel it's nice to have a goal I think it gives hope even if it's a small one. I have several. Each year I have a goal to take a home inventory and I never get very far but each year I am hopeful to get it done. That is one of many. Good luck in your new year goals if you have any!
Hugs,
Tania
