Soup Sunday-Potato Soup

It's Soup Sunday again!  I made the Pioneer Woman's (Ree Drummond) potato soup.  Well kinda she had a cajun spice mix in her soup recipe that I did not add, instead I added thyme and marjoram.  I also like my soup more chunky than she does.

It was pretty yummy.  If interested you can find this recipe on my Pinterest board pinned it and did it.

We had a really nice weekend.  Saturday Mr. Man came with me to my friend Jennie's Thirty-One open house, she also had hosted a woman from Tastefully Simple.  I bought from 31 some Christmas gifts and from Tastefully some yummy food and teas for me.  Mr. Man won a door prize from 31!  I'm the lucky recipient!

After we left Jennie's we took a drive to the mountains, to Blue Ridge and Ellijay.  In BR we stopped at this Amish shop I like to go to.  They sell food items, I bought a beef base and popcorn salt.  Then we went to Ellijay to the Black Bear Antique Mall.  We found some really great deals there!

On our way home we stopped at Red Lobster for dinner.  It was busy!  I can't remember the last time we went out to dinner on a Saturday night, now I know why we don't.  We didn't get to eat until 9ish.  It was a fun day!

Sunday after church Mr. Man and I did some Christmas shopping, we got one person done!

This will be a busy week coming as I leave Thursday for Minnesota for Candi's shower that Erica, my sister Tammy and I are hosting.  Mickey is coming as well but she doesn't know it yet.  Since she doesn't know it has been really hard for her because she wants to go so bad and isn't happy with her mom.  She will be so happy and surprised come Thursday.  We will only be there for the weekend which is probably a good thing since we hear there will be snow there today and cold!  brrr!

Enjoy your day and thanks for stopping by!

Hugs,
Tania
