Quick Trip To Minnesota

Thursday night we took the last flight out to Minnesota, picked up our rental and drove to my sister's.  We stayed up and visited until 2:50 a.m.  For us that is 3:50!  I can't remember the last time I stayed up that late visiting.

Friday morning we headed out to do all of the grocery shopping for food for Candi's bridal shower.

All day Friday was prepping and cooking.
In the evening I had projects for Tammy and Mickey to do...oh by the way Mickey didn't know she was coming with us and it was really hard for Erica not to tell her and she had some moments when she was not happy not to be going...surprise

Erica is wrapping up the prizes for the games we will be playing.

Last minute putting fruit on the skewers.
A gift of two for each guest to take home.
I loved our theme/decor and so did Candi!

I was so disappointed in the cake.  It was suppose to be a cream color to look vintage, lace and burlap like our theme. ugh!
We didn't have a very good turn out considering how many were in invited.  I think the snow had something to do with that.
After this successful shower we headed back to Candi's.  Traffic was horrible due to accidents because of the snow fall.  I don't miss that at all.
Back at Candi's the girls were meeting up there for an evening bachelorette party at Stella's Fish Cafe .  The party started at Candi's with bottles of wine being opened.
And opening fun lacy gifts.  When the girls went out Mickey and I went to Broadway pizza in Blaine for dinner.  She is like her mimi, cheese pizza!

It was an early night for me and Mickey.  I think for the first two nights I slept a total of five hours.  I was beat!
The next morning Erica, Mickey and I went to Billy's for breakfast buffet.  Candi didn't make it too much fun the night before.

On our way to Billy's we stopped at the park I was at in September.  Looks different with snow huh?
And it was cold!!!

After breakfast we made our way back to the airport.  That was my shortest visit to Minnesota.

I always wanted to say I'm jetting off for the weekend just didn't know it would be to Minnesota!

Candi was happy with how it all turned out and to me it was worth it all.

Thanks for the visit!

Hugs,
Tania
