Friday

It's Friday once again!

So last Friday I was going to send out fabric to my sister, well it didn't happen.  I still did my errand day like most Fridays.  But I decided if I was cleaning out scraps of fabric I wanted to do it right so I gathered more this week and sent it out to her today.

Ouch on the postage, I'm just saying!

I was in search of the right size box.  The large set rate box was too small.  Then I remembered a box in the guest room closet I had so I went to empty it out since I thought it only holds some of the small clipboards I have made.  Well I guess not!  I found bags I had made sometime ago and wrote them off to lost or given to Goodwill since I couldn't find them.  They were on the bottom of this box!  It kinda felt like Christmas!

Some of these I want to change up to sell, maybe?  I'm not sure yet if they will go on Etsy or wait because there is a fair coming up the end of March that we are thinking of setting up at so I may wait for that.  I'm just so happy to find them.
These are my most recent bags this week.  My own design not much of a design I know but not quite done but I figured out the measurement I wanted with a little tab on the side.  I love this size they will be great to put in your purse or another larger bag for sure.

I am on hold making bags for a couple of days.  I ran out of zippers and the shop I buy them at closed and I did find some in MN when I was there.  So I did some searching on line for them and I found them on Etsy for a wonderful price, wholesale price!  My tracking said they would be here on Monday and I have been sitting on pins and needles waiting!  Partly because you never really know what your getting when you ordered the first time around.

Well I got them today!  I am so excited they are exactly what I wanted the same kind I like to buy!  jackpot!  I will need to put in another order very soon as these 35 zippers won't last very long.
So on errand day today I mailed out Tammy's fabric, my aunt Nancy's late Christmas present, the quilted jacket I made her.  I also bought more batting and interfacing today to make more bags.  I also stopped at the grocery store and picked up a few things along with this bottle of wine.  Yes I bought it because it is cute!  I love the pop top as well.

I hope you enjoy your weekend!

Hugs,
Tania
