Minnie and Quilt

I have started another hand quilting project.  This quilt is from our shops' block of the month program in 2009.  I was going to have it machine quilted but it had been hanging in a closet since 2009 and not done partly due to the cost of having someone machine quilt it on their long arm. 
After recently hand quilting my Sassy 16 quilt and how it turned out I decided this quilt would get done a whole lot faster if I just hand quilted it myself.  It's good practice and very relaxing.
I started quilting on it a couple days ago and since our temps are a lot cooler Minnie found an opportunity to keep warm and also check out "her" new quilt. 
I thought it was funny how she blends in with the colors of this quilt. 
Hand quilting is fun but trying to move the quilt around with a 13# cat on it isn't.  But I love that she wants to sit with me so I can live with it.
