Autumn

When mom passed away she left behind four pets, one dog and three cats.
We were able to find a home for the dog and the oldest cat.
The initial plan for the other two was I would take Autumnand my sister would take Blackie but I struggled with this decision because Autumn and Blackie are siblings from the same litter and have been together almost 6 years.
One tearful morning I called Mr. Man and asked it I could take Blackie home too. That would be over our cat limit for sure but he agreed they shouldn't be separated.
The first week went well considering Blackie and Autumn hid the entire week.
After that they started to come out more and Blackie wasn't very nice at all to my little Piper. He really got at her one day so much I could no longer trust him with her so I pretty much carried Piper with me around the house.
She wouldn't stick up for herself like the other cats would since Blackie tried to pick on the others but didn't work.
I had to find a home for Blackie. I was thinking at first Autumn had to be a part of the package deal but the more I saw she was accumulating to her new home very well I feel she didn't need her brother (yes Blackie is the only male cat and that maybe the issue)
After a couple of week of this and no takers I had come to the hard decision of having to give him up to and animal rescue which I was not happy with.
Then our daughter Erica stepped up and said they really want a cat and she didn't want us to get rid of him like that and she would take him.
Blackie went to his new home on Sunday and as of last night Erica and Mickey said he seems to like where he is and loves for them to pet him because he is purring very loudly.
I hope this works out for everyone. Autumn seems to be doing well she is trying to fit into her brothers shoes and is bulling a little but I think that will go away over time she just isn't that way.
A the life of a cat!
Patches and Autumn
Blackie
